    Hello Rodjam,

It's a steel job from Opposite Lock, powdercoated to match the car. There's a thread from about 18 months ago that goes into a bit of detail about this bar and its twin brother, the ARB version - there's very little difference between the two.

I've been really happy with my set-up, and I'm sure OL have sorted the installation issues I had with mine - it was the first fitted on a D4 I think.

    Hi Jesse,
I could not pick what it was!
    Thank you for that info.
Planning the ad dons for when the D4 arrives.
    Rims are ordered.
    Many thanks.

    Hey guys,

New D4 3.0l owner. I'm looking at these wheels as I need a second set for offroad (I want to get my stock 19"'s powder coated black for town )

The Green oval site has them listed for $530 a rim which is way more than the original price quoted back in 2011 in this thread. Does anyone know where I can get them cheaper? Or if there's other alternatives since this thread was first started?

    Appreciate any advice!

    Hmm .......

Well, no - you can only get them through me. The original landed price I charged was $390 each, but due to a horrific misunderstanding on my part with the factory, that didn't include taxes and shipping. The real price would have been closer to $490 - I lost a fortune on the first 2 shipments

Since then alloy price rises in the UK have incremented the price. They are not your normal "bling" alloys - they're designed for off-road competition work. If you don't think they're worth the cost, consider putting better 19" AT tyres on your vehicle.

    Cheers,

    Gordon

Ah thanks Gordon, sorry I wasn't having a go, just wondering why there's such a price delta now, but it all makes sense!

I'll shoot you an email once i'm looking to order

    /thread hi-jack

Welcome Ben! Glad you finally signed up. Altho the best decision you've made lately was to buy the D4. The rate at which my new County is coming along, we might just have to do a trip with the Disco's. The County is becoming more of a long term project every day.... lol

Rims look great I'm close to buying a set of 6 for mine. I don't suppose anyone has decent pics of the three compomotive rims (black/silver/anthracite) on a Nara Bronze vehicle? Have google and thus far found only the black.
