Id like to get involved with any "testing" especially if it may generate some real empirical edivence , albeit that a rolling road dyno can only tell us the difference given proper double blind testing.Min problem with trying to draw any absolute figures is the dyno may not even be able to plot RPM;s against its Tractive effort calculations .On A DynoDynamics Dyno is a $10,000 extra to able to plot RPM. and without that we wont be able to calculate Torque ,This is why 99% of Rolling road dyno printouts only quote some rather useless HP or KW numbers .
With RPM , using the standard Formula of (Torque x RPM ) / 5252 = HP ,
Hence 444ftlbs or 600nm torque at 2000 RPM gives 169 HP and
Hence 244.8 HP or 180KW power at 4000 RPM gives 186 ft lbs 0r 251 nm
Makes for real interesting Torque curve especialy when overlaying all that boost.
Questions like what gear would you test it in, what ramp rate is the Dyno using ,
correction to STD air , Torque convertor flash and stall speeds , and the whether the operator can do a parasitics decell test to get a handle on Parasitics.
Also be interesting to check/observe the effect of each of the Terrain setting, which may dictate that all tests should be done in say 4th gear LOW range. It aint easy to get meaningful absolute figures from a rolling road Dyno , so only the differences when a parameter is changed/modified will be of any use.
I would assume that. whatever the increased figures on the dyno are after the chip / re-tvme, would reflect in the on road performance.

It will be interesting to see the longevity of the ZF 6HP's - with 700+NM in front of them! I saw in the ZF manuals that they have different torque convertors in the 6HP28 - depending on how much torque was input.
The BAS module has hit melboune now so she won't be long before I get this all working. I won't bother dyno before and after but I have a racelogic performanceBox at my disposal so I can probably compile some before and after 0-100km/h runs and some in gear runs before and after. On a " private " road under "controlled" conditions of course

Haven't had anything done to the D4 as yet.
Had a re-map done on the 2.7Lt D3 by Ritter Landrover Melbourne. Can't remember the figures, but was very happy with the added power, torque and economy.
On previous vehicles (Landcruisers) I have had the DP Chip fitted and always done test runs on the dyno to measure exhaust temperatures. I have found that with the add on chips, you have to sacrifice some KW to keep exhaust temperatures lower. A plus though is that the torque comes in at lower revs, which is what I was after anyway.

244.8 HP @ 4000RPM = 320 LBS/FT = 434 NM
That is, if you transpose in your formulae, then
Torque( in lbs ft ) = HP x 5252/RPM.
