you have email....the grunt of a diesel D3 is ok for round town but overtaking while towing a small camper trailer takes........................forever.
Can something be done about that 40km/h warning and 50km/h cutout in offroad mode in a reflash??

Nope but a LLAMS kit will give you more choice:

at least there are some options to solve this issue. Face value the rods seem a good cheap solution, but i like the electronic method.

Sorry for going off topic slightly.

Tombie must be on holidays, hope he comes back soon so i can get one of these BAS reflashes

Anyone got a "Tuning Box" Brand Diesel upgrade for a 2.7D3?

Just looking at options for a diesel upgrade - something that will smooth out the flat spots when accelerating from low revs and give a bit more grunt when towing.
I can find info on the "Chip it" Dorko has got, but not the BAS brand others have mentioned.
There is something called a "Tuning Box" Diesel performance kit from Belgium that is available for the Disco ex Melbourne for $700 from HiFlo Diesel & Performance.
    http://hiflo.com.au/tb_list.cfm?vm=LAND ROVER
Has anyone got any history with this one?
It doesn't sound like its adjustable in any way or plugs into a PC, but I don't know how important that feature is.
The price seems OK , but I'm not sure how it stacks up with the others out there.
    Any feedback is much appreciated....

    thanks

    Hi wyperfield,
Forget all the rest, for BAS just go to:
Diesel performance tuning and economy remap chip tuning for Landrover Defender Discovery TD5 Puma TDV6 TDV8

If you need more help, just ask.

    Best Wishes,
    Peter
