Not yet Andrew. They are wrapped in plastic bubble wrap, cable tied to a loom within the bar at the moment. I have to look at getting the plastic guide/bracket mounts off the old bumper or maybe getting new ones. Then I'll look at positioning them on the bar or below the bar.
Need to finish Traxide install first though. A few extra cables have gone in so far.
    Cheers, Mungus.

    Time for a new Bullbar.

Yesterday while I was enjoying my breakfast a woman decided to back into my ARB Bar.

Dented the side luckily from a glance there is no panel damage, I'm not sure if it could have done any internal I would think not D4 Landrover Bull Bar - latest news

So time for a new bar.

I'll be open to offers on the existing one with the dent in the side.

Babs, I wouldn't assume no internal damage. If she's dented the bullbar she must have given it a fair whack. I'd play it safe and get it checked out. I assume it will be an insurance job.

    Thinking of a Bull Bar

I am thinking its time to get a bull bar. Have a white late 2014 D4 HSE, doesn't have radar cruise and doesn't have a front camera. Not intending a winch in the short term.

Should I get it colour coded?

Do bull bar makers have spot lamp packages?

Will I have to get new fog lamps?

Are there issues with spot lamps and cooling - I tow a 1900kg tare off road van, its GVM is 2500kg. So perhaps cooling might be an issue with spot lamps.

Thanks for any advice on what is best and how to buy it!!

    Hi
I went for the ARB bar, color coded. Looks good on a white vehicle.
    Fog lamps are built in.
Driving light mounting holes are provided.
I just returned from 5000Km trip including Simpson Desert, towing camper with no cooling issues at all.
    I'm very happy with mine.

    Thanks for the reply.

I checked with ARB maybe 18 months ago and at the time, they said they couldn't handle the front parkers. Since then I think they know how to handle them - but I am not sure. I quite like my front parkers and with the longer length of the vehicle with the bar, they seem even more important to me!

What spot lamps did you use? My understanding is that LEDs are not as good at identifying kangaroos. I also understand that Red and Grey roos are visible with different frequency of head lamps. My vehicle has Xenons (its and HSE) but although their low beam seems awesome, I don't think their high beam is all that exciting. They do show grey roos (in Victoria) but then again, when they are on the road a candle might illuminate them!

    Hi
The ARB bar hasn't been available for long, barely 12 mths.
The bar does have provisions for front sensors, I don't have sensors, but the holes are there.
I do have radar and camera.
I went for Fyrlyt 9000 Driving Lights, following many recommendations on forum.
Honestly I have only used them once, lit up like Xmas.
I'm not an expert on lights so I can't advise either way.
    Cheers Vin

    Hi Melbourne Park,
Neither the new or the old ARB bars were available earlier in the year when I needed one, so I went with Opposite Lock in basic black. I'm also in Brighton, so you are welcome to drop over and have a look if you like. I'm happy with it (good bar, but fitting instructions are woefully inadequate) but I admit I'm only interested in functionality, not looks. I also think there's little point fitting a bar without a winch, but I'm funny like that!
I'm also concerned about driving lights blocking airflow and I'm hesitating to fit the IPF lights from my old LSE. But it seems that the cooling of these cars is well sorted. Also, the standard lights are brilliant.

    ....
Looked at their web site - $630 for 9000 24V, $995 for 12V 9000, $595 12V 5000, about the same for 24V 5000 series. 24V 9000 seems best value, but not sure how costly it is to get 24V on a D4. The rest of my stuff is 12V ... I probably only need 150Watts anyway ... its best to avoid night driving really, but I do find myself doing it now and then.

My lights on high are OK for signs etc but they don't seem to stretch that far. Low beam is good though.

I'll email you my details, I would like to check your bar! I spoke to ARB and I asked if buying at a show was the only way to get a discount. They said it was - there's one in a month. I may be away then though.

Looking forward to seeing the OL version.
