I do not think you will find too many who have required more transmission cooling on either the D3 or RRS. It seems that LR did not undersize either the engine or transmission cooling on the vehicles.
The only item most would agree that seems perhaps inadequate is the fuel tank., particularly if one is towing. With regard to towing, no one seems to complain about a lack of cooling and that is where a concern would first show itself.
Regardless, I think one would know if there was a transmission oil cooling problem as the tranny, like most other geared assemblies on the vehicles has overheat sensors tied to the computer systems. That is one reason we have so many caution lights within the dash display. The jpg is of a RRS with the gasoline supercharged V8 engine.
