If the diff oils have been replaced , maybe they've been knocking
around the gaskets to the rear pots . See if you can get any-turn
on the exhaust gasket bolts back there .............
I'm not certain. There is a exhaust type droning at 80 KPH+. Off the throttle it is silent. Even slightly on the throttle it makes the noise. Doesn't make much more noise at full throttle. It is not speed dependant.Originally Posted by stig0000

Try SBL at Acacia Ridge. My D3 and the parents FL2 have been serviced there and we've been happy. My 5yr service cost me $250 but its a lot simpler for the V6 than the V8.
