How many threads do the nuts engage - 6 or 9? If they got the centre bore size wrong did they get the stud hole depth wrong too?

I'm interested in this also, we were thinking of these rims, according to rmp, they have supposed to have fixed the issue of the amount of turns on the stud.

For what its worth I think the BB6's are excellent wheels and I'm very happy I bought PCH's set off of him.

I know there is only one inch in difference in size to the 18's but rightly or wrongly I feel much more confident off road with the 17's on then the 18's even though both sets of tyres have the same rolling circumference.

I considered buying a set of Dynamic steel wheels or similar based on price but decided against that and now I have heard of a number of them cracking I'm really happy I didn't. If you have a close look at the BB6's they look like a high quality product, I can't say the same for the Dynamic's I have checked out.

Our D1 has 16" Eastern Wheel Works rims fitted, they not only look really good in the flesh but are as solid as a rock, not cheap though but you get what you pay for. They might be worth a try if someone is looking for something different that is good quality and Australian made.

    Redback & Graeme
I didn't count the number of turns & it's way to stinking hot to go out & check today.
Once I get all the problems sorted I think they will be good tyres & wheels. Just seems very difficult to get things sorted.

    Hi Redback,
Like yourself I'm thinking of going with the performance wheel rims. Is there a problem with them? I was going to get mine from TRS in Adelaide. Whilst the original 17 inch D3 wheel rim isn't the prettiest it is till functional and you have tyre options, better than the 18 inch rim.
Be interested to know the outcome of this before I go down this track.
