I have the 1928 long platform with their 3 lots of legs. Tow on front rails and 4 on long rear rails. I did not have factory rails so purchased the short and the long ones from rhino. The front legs have two spacers on each side. You can position the cross rails and legs at any location, but I have mine fitted so that one set of legs is just forward of the rear bolt, one set at the end of the rails (middle of roof) and one set on the short rails at the front. They are evenly spaced.

Hmmm, I hadnt realised Rhino made 'separate", short, front rails. I guess the question will be can you add front rails from Rhino to existing long rails from LR...suspect not.

Stornaway, I don't know about the factory rails. The rails that I purchased are all rhino ones. They go full length of the top level part of the roof.....from rear lip to just about where the roof dips down. I dealt with rhino directly in Perth. The guy there was super knowledgable. He did say that if I had the factory long rails, then I only needed to buy rhino short rails for the lower front section. See pics attached.

Not sure if I like forum runner....pics upside down. Also I can't view must pictures using forum runner either.

I have the short Rhino pioneer rack and I seem to get by with this. It is actually a very wide rack and I am able to place tent and two other large bags beside it lengthwise. The low profile of the Pioneer rack is greta for getting in and around the concrete jungle. One thing to consider is the ovreall weight the pioneer racks although alloy are not actually that light they are made very strong and I can easily walk around on it without a bother I think you will find over a 1/3 of your roof capacity is consumed just with the rack throw a tyre up their and one full jerry and you will be close to the limits.

On topic I believe Rhino have spacers as well for their legs so you may be able to space out to get a level long rack.

Stornoway - I have the extended factory racks - with Rhino heavy duty aero bars with Foxwing and Thule roof box. Looking at the Rhino website the longest pioneer rack only goes to the dip over the second row.

Thought about Tradesman oval and Windcheetah they do longer trays. Not sure about there claim to 150kgs tho as factory load says 75kgs.

yep....it's a little short. What I do is slide it forward to the front legs, and the roof topper hangs off the rear by about 20-30cm. Still have room for spare and chairs. The longer option becomes too wide for the roof.

Correct me if I am wrong....often am....the 75 kg weight limit is from LR.
Some uk racks take up to 200 kgs.....they advertise this openly.
I do know for a fact that the rhino rack will handle significantly more than 75kgs, but this is not advertised purely due to LR's specifications.
I don't think that I would want to push it with the legs being above the windows....they might pop out. LOL
