How Many Km Do you do ?

There have been a few posts on here recently regaring how many kilometres people do and the problems they might have had. I thought it might be interesting to find out how many KM people do.

    I'll kick it off, I've got a 2008 D3 and in just under 4 years I've covered 192000KM

    Regards,
    Tote

Varies - in the D3's I was covering around 40 000 km per year (2006 to 2010). In the RRS it's around 25 000 km per year (2010 to 2012)

    Cheers,

    Gordon

In the first few years it was over 40k pa. Now it is less than 8k pa as it is not my daily drive.

Although my 2005 TDV6 has around 200K on it, I didn't put them there.
No commuting and no long range touring (unfortunately), day trip, weekend, long weekend and caravan tug only.

I do about 60-70 a year. I had a Triton (work car) and drove it into the ground in 3 and a bit years (220,000klms).

Now I have a 2009 130. Will see how it goes. Never would have thought I'd be saying a Defender was better to drive than a Triton (not that Tritons are great, but most reviews on Defenders are all about 4x4 capability and not flattering on highway and road driving), but the seats are a lot better and whilst it's a bit more of a truck, I don't get as sore from a long drive (and I'm 6'3").

Great vehicle and I can see why once you've had a Defender you couldn't drive another car. They do have something special about them !

30 000 per year with not enough of it offroad or using the D3 like it was built for. Bloody good highway car though and love it for trips to Longreach, Thredbo etc, especially when the family aren't with me.

The slow process of modifications/additions/improvements is underway with the dual battery in, change of tyres and soon roof rack, compressor and RAI as a snorkel.

    Cheers

    Hi Tote,

You have a reasonably high Km vehicle usage - what have been the major issues (if any) outside of normal servicing with your vehicle in the 4years?

    I have a D4, TDV6 and it is 16mths old with 40000kms
