    internal compressor

    Hi Guys,

    Has anyone ever used there internal airbag commpressor for inflating there tyres?.Is there a kit with regulator & fittings available on the market?.

    It depends on what year model you have, latter models do not have a "bung" on the front of the air tank.

    They are good for pumping up 1 or 2 tyres but run out of air, recovery fill of the tank is too slow so I'd recommend an additional compressor under the bonnet for Airing tyres such as an ARB compressor.

    If used on a regular basis its a good way to wear out a very expensive compressor that has a short life at the best of times.

    Aftermarket compressors are cheap in comparision and do a much better job.
