			D3 noisy suspension

I went up to Warraweena in SA for a few days of off road driving to test out the D3 compare to the TD5 D2 I had. WOW what a great 4x4! I am certainly pleased I made the change. Before I went I put on 17" BB-6 Mags and Mickey T STZ's and I'm glad I did the LT tyres certainly helped. So far I'm more than happy with the tyre choice. Being new to the D3 and airbag suspension I'm not sure if I have worn components or not but the suspension clunked a lot especially on rocky bumpy trails with suspension set at off road height. You could probably describe it a a load muffled cup and saucer rattle. I can't make out if its a swaybar bush, suspension bush, ball joint or normal noise. The rear passengers said the noise was coming from the rear of the car but my front passenger and myself thought it was more like the front! Do the D3's make suspension noise or do I have a problem to fix?

 Cheers

It is almost certainly the anti-roll bar bushes... The T5 platform (D3/4 & RRS) is heavy on these bushes.

Not too difficult to change and a DIY job if you want. There is also a slightly thicker bush available from LR which lasts a little longer than the original.
