Reversing Camera to D4 with touch Screen

That is the correct part number for the clips. 2 of mine disappeared when I popped off the console sides. If you're just ordering the clips only then local dealer. If you decide to order OEM camera or looms then Duckworths (Duckworth Parts) or similar would be the best bet - much cheaper.

The looms are expensive but do make for a very neat setup as they come already threaded through the OEM grommets etc. Not necessary - your preference really. Cost me about $650 for the OEM camera, 2 looms and clips. The list of part numbers is in the thread I've referenced above.

Can anyone confirm the parts numbers for the OEM: camera, microswitch with camera wiring and tailgate loom with camera wiring (does this reach all the way from the tailgate handle up to the Fakra and power connectors behind the rear courtesy light?). I have seen different numbers on this and the UK Disco 3 site with a similar thread. MY12. Rotator gear knob .

Most of the later updates for the part numbers on the Disco3 thread (DISCO3.CO.UK - View topic - D4 XS wiring for rear camera) are from me. It would be worth getting a VIN from someone with a MY12 and factory fitted reversing camera and checking the part number but I would assume based on the research I've done that the part numbers will be (Duckworths prices in brackets):

Tailgate microswitch with camera loom LR021100 (GBP 40)
Analogue camera LR043493 (GBP 182)
Additional tailgate wiring loom LR071911 (GBP 51)
Clips FYC500040 (GBP 9.60 for 6)
and of course the Fakra cable for the front which you've already ordered.

Yes.

I think that the following will only matter if you're trying to get the curving lines... and not sure it will work. So just fyi if you're feeling like investigating. Copied from the Disco3 thread: "Using a VIN for an MY14 fitted with the factory reversing camera, I checked the camera part number. Some time early in the life of MY14 D4's, the camera has changed from LR023365 (superseded by LR043493) to LR051728- which I assume is the CAN bus connected version... I haven't been able to verify this... "
And finally a question for you too - do you know if you have Fakra connectors on the rear of the head unit? The assumption (statement, actually) on the Disco3 site was that if you have the rotary gear selector then you will have Fakra connections on the head unit.

Topix shows them as non-surround

Still an assumption that it's the Fakra connection on the back of the head unit, rather than the 6 pin plug that has also been mentioned, but a couple of threads on this and the Disco3/4 site seem to point to that for the rotary gear selector (Wiggs on the Disco 3 site - he seems to know what he's talking about looking through his posts on various topics). It'll be like Christmas when I remove the front fascia and have a look, not knowing quite what I'll find! Hoping that it is Fakra but seems like connections can still be made with a bit of wire and connector modifications. Thanks for help.

Agree re Wiggs on Disco3 site so with rotary gear knob you should have Fakra connectors. Part numbers actually come from MicroCat. Looks like LR031813 was the original camera but it was superseded by LR043493, so that's the one you want.

Finally done all wiring but have issue with enabling in CCF. From 'video' in secret menu I get a scrambled picture but nothing when I put it in reverse. My local auto techs have an Autologic and say they have changed the CCF to say a camera is fitted but still nothing. Can anyone help with which settings to activate - there seems to be parking assist camera but I'm not sure if this is part of the surround camera system. Is there more than one file to alter in different parts of the CCF?
