Thread: D3 oil pressure switch light and buzzer

Hello everyone, i'm come back with another problem: lately when I put in motion the D3 in the morning, the oil light takes longer than usual to switch off, resulting in alarm buzzer, while the others startings the light goes off almost immediately, and if I leave the car a little the thing occurs, both old and new oil and filter. I'll try to change the oil pressure switch, but meanwhile I would like to know if anyone has had this problem.
My D3 was 7 years old and 166K Km but has only now begun to have this problem.

Found the cause, yesterday after trying the pressure and finding it ok, the mechanic has dived into the hood, the filter was disassembled and the part where the filter is engaged, and we realized that the small o-ring mounted on 'plug the filter (do not know what it's called) that you see in the upper left on the photo of the filter itself was not held here http://www.disco3.co.uk/wiki/index.php/TDV6_Oil_Change; reassembled the old or -ring on the filter (original, note) seems to have resolved.
Moral: Even the original parts, at times, are crap.
