			Recommended oil

When travelling a couple of years back, I needed to urgently get some oil for the Nissan at the time. As it had the DPF, I needed the low ash one, and the closest drop was 300km away.

As such I've gotten into the habit of keeping a litre or two in the car, just in case. So wanting to do the same with the D4, I've found out that the dealer has used a particular oil (0w30) which doesn't appear to be available to the general public. If I get the 5w30 variant of the same oil, (Castrol SLX Professional Powerflow C1) or another type (Castrol Edge Professional C1 5w30 or even Mobil Super FE Special - still compliant with the WSS-m2c934-B spec), is there any issue with mixing them if topping up.

 Thanks Andrew

I carry a litre of Castrol Edge 5W 30 with me and I figure that "any oil is better than no oil", and as you say it complies with the relevant spec so should be O.K.
 cheers
