Hmmm things we used to take for granted! I'm getting around it in the rear at least by putting in the extra permanently powered sockets, and it'd be good to re-route the others eventually too. But geez!

    battery case entry

Stuart: my traxide unit took me a couple of half day efforts; got there, minus small bits of skin exactly as you describe. I drilled an entry to the batt case vertical wall for the pos (low speed, ultra-careful!), snug diameter, and bit of silicone; all seems to have lasted the distance - couple of good work outs thru SA and Pilbara.

Getting back to the original question I assume it would be an easy setting to adjust via FaultMate or next time the vehicle is in at LR but then adain things that I thought LR could enable or alter seem to be a bit beyond some LR tech's. Asked them to disable the easy entry "feature" of the drivers seat but wasn't successful. Same with disabling the 3 flash on the indicator and a few other items.
