    Which warranty

I bought a used 2008 D3 2.7 in June from a dealer here in Sydney.

It obviously came with a 3 month statutory warranty.

I also took out an Allianz warranty.

A few faults showed up in the first couple of months so I took it back under warranty and all the faults were repaired with "quick and cheap" solutions.

Over the past couple of months all the faults have returned so I have gone back to the dealer to get them repaired (again).

Now the dealer wants me to claim each of the repairs against my Allianz warranty as each of them is going to cost a fair bit.

I am having an argument with them because I say that they should be covering them under the statutory warranty because that was when they were reported and not fixed.

    What are your thoughts?

Bloody Stealers......of course they should fix it as it was reported within the 3 month period...thats my thoughts.
However, they are going to say that they did fix the faults and are not responsible if they return after 3 months.

    Be persistant

    Cheers, Craig

Make the claim to Allianz and get them to chase the dealer.
