Thanks for all the useful advice. Ended up going for the 2.7 - it's basically in as new condition and the extra year or so on the new car warranty swung it for us. Also figured we would be more than happy with it for 3 years or so and then upgrade to the 3.0 (or D5) then.

Was quoted $4k by Barbagallo the other day when I queried them. Apparently cost has gone up significantly due to the fact that they actually payout occasionally!
