Ok sorry. I thought you meant spotlights when you said Stedi. Yes if you want to swap globes you can’t avoid pulling the bar as you can’t get the headlights out to get to the globes as I understand it with the bar in place. Not sure how far the bar needs moving to get to them.Quote:

I Have RR L405 2013 4.4 TDV8 and have some problems with turbo.
In 320,000 km new original right turbo (with passenger).

In 331,000 error P1247-00 and P00BC-07.
My mechanic told me that it was necessary to replace the left turbo (at the driver's), we made an exchange for a refurbished one and the car still did not drive, and then the mechanic found out that the right turbo does not put pressure on the exhaust.
Complaints to Land Rover and acknowledged the claim and again the replacement of the right turbo for warranty (allegedly stuck).
I drove about 500km and again a strange feeling under the pedal around 1500-2000 rpm. The car went into emergency mode after a restart for a while and again the error.
I had it taken back to the original service and they told me that the regulation on the right turbo works strangely again and they replaced the right turbo (with the passenger) again on my warranty.
I say to myself that it's weird that a real turbo would go away in a short time.
However, after another 300km again similar strange behavior under the accelerator pedal, error and code P1247-00 and P0235-94 and in the original service told me that according to tests there is poor regulation on the left turbo and it needs to be replaced.
But unfortunately I can't believe it ... I'm afraid it will change and the problem will persist. Despite the fact that I found this https://f01.justanswer.com/crzydrvr00/25dd9cf9-014... and according to the codes it looks like the right turbo again and not the left.
What do you think colleagues?

To clarify, is the left and right when sitting in the driver's seat looking forwards or looking at the engine from the front of the vehicle? The right side of the engine is normally when viewed from the rear of the engine, not from the front.
For at least the first couple of years the 4.4 in the L405 had a problem with oil leaking from the wiring harness for the oil level sensor which made its way into the right turbo's electronics usually requiring the turbo to be replaced as well as the wiring to the sensor, although now a short loom is available that prevents oil travelling to the turbo. I wonder if this is the problem with your vehicle.

Yesterday I sent a lot of things to the service to think about what I found out on the internet, on my initiative they tested it for another two hours and confirmed the first presumption of a change of regulation on the left turbo :)

Its unlikely that one turbo could affect (damage) the other. However the secondary turbo's inlet isolation valve or its triggering solenoid could be at fault although I would hope that the service people would know if the isolation valve was not working properly.
If oil leaked from the oil level sensor into the primary turbo's electronics then I would expect it would have been very obvious to the service people and therefore would have at least fitted the short extension harness to prevent oil migrating to the new turbo's electronics.
First, they replaced the solenoid on the secondary turbo.
And I think if they changed 2x primary turbo twice in an authorized service, they would notice some oil.We'll see, maybe it will help to replace the regulation (inlet shut-off valve LR066428) of the secondary turbo. It's changing now. They've done some supposedly active tests using diagnostics, so they may know what they're doing.It's all weird ...
Maybe there was a mistake in the secondary turbo all the time and by the fact that before I drove with it and the car fell into emergency mode from time to time, somehow the primary turbo became busy and always left ... (fortunately I wrote, changed twice for a free warranty).
But I think the cause is somewhere else.
