I have heard people calling up trucking companies and seeing if they have a truck that is going in your direction already... if so seeing if they can throw in the item for cheap seeing as they are going there already and it's just beer money as they already have the paying load... might be worth a try! Have not done this myself, just what I have heard.

    Good luck,

It more than doubles the cost.

Probably should post this is another place but don't know where .
The annoying thing is I was in Sydney 4 weeks ago with the van, not much room but I would have made them fit !

Only thing I can suggest Dennis, is post it in the courier section and see what happens.

    Cheers Baz.

Well the tyres and rims are here, happy with them now but wasn't half an hour ago ! No way will they fit underneath inflated !

One tyre has 2mm less tread than the rest which Baz did tell me, I am playing with that one, now have it deflated to about 8psi (guess) and I can get it in O.K. I do have a compressor installed (ARB so that is not a problem, also a Mitch-hitch.

All looking good at present Not putting the tyres on the ground just now, so am about to go and try and get the one that I have squeezed in out - that could be interesting.
Will let a bit more air out next time, would not like to try and get it in there new !

    Thanks Baz happy this end.

P.S The cheapest freight by far turned out to be Greyhound bus line - but I think they let it to Northline freight. Sydney to Cairns

Glad your happy with the rims Dennis, they should last you a while with the amount of tread left on them.

Maybe one day we will catch up when your down here next or we are up your way.

    Baz.
    Cheers Baz.
