Yep, the previous trip Fluids managed to get up the rock-face in a facelift D2 so CDL + TC.
I was in 1L for that climb so traction control was going fine, but no CDL didn't help, neither do having extremely stiff HD springs that have about as much flex as an old man in the morning :D
I wasn't really tempted to push it too far as I need it to ferry me to uni every week, but having said that I think I've been bitten, I want to try harder stuff now :twisted:
Are you missing the lever or the internals.

Good stuff mate. I had to get an entire output housing. No doubt those springs wouldn't help keep traction . You are clearly on your game about what the problems are.

I think Muppet said at some stage that if you have the keys to a disco and a defender then you are boasting.
In my case that would be longing since I only have the keys to one. Personally Series, Defender, Disco, Rangie in the garage would be sublime.
And with regard to my comment on how people see the D3 as a Toorak tractor. I had to go over to the North Shore yesterday (in the fairly dirty from the weekend) D3. Security guard at the gate: "G'day mate [looks at car].... Where on earth have you been'
Me: 'bit of four wheeling on the weekend"
SG: "that is good to see mate"
