Thread: Suitable tongue for Mitch Hitch so that tailgate doesn't hit the Treg coupling

Hi,

I have just installed our Mitch Hitch however I need to now find a tongue that is low enough that we can still open the tailgate without it hitting the Treg coupling. Any ideas where I can get one? All of the usual shops (ie. Repco etc.) around here only supply ones rated to 2500kg.(The Mitch Hitch is rated to 3500kg and the current LR tongue is rated to 3500kg).

An original LR OEM D2 tongue works well for me with more than enough of a drop so I can use a Trigg with a Mitch Hitch, you can often find one on eBay for not a lot.
