						Hi all
I am in the market for a RWC for my D3 and am after some advice on what RWC that are available today that can fit a rear light and is generally user friendly.
So far have checked out these...
4x4de - no longer manufactured
dolium - user friendly but no option for rear light and parking sensor issue
rijidij - redesign has not been finished has option for rear light
kaymar - too expensive!
outback accessories dual - too expensive
outback accessories single - ???? anyone using one? parking sensor issue?
terrafirma - ???? anyone using one? parking sensor issue?
big country - ???? anyone using one? parking sensor issue?
rasta - looks a bit light on
jim, i would hang back until murray (rijidij) finishes his design, he is very thorough.

The Isuzu 110. Solid and as dependable as a rock, coming soon with auto box😊
The Range Rover L322 4.4.TTDV8 ....probably won't bother with the remap..😈
Why do you want to fit a rear light? The Dolium one is legal without one. There are rear parking sensor issues, but many have been able to overcome them at least as long as you don't have a Mitch Hitch as well.
Any "Over Centre" latches are generally not SWMBO friendly.
That certainly narrows the choice especially if the 4x4 Intelligence one is no longer available.

Watching with interest.
I called Outback Accessories a week or two ago re their RWC. It apparently is back in the development stage due to reverse sensor issue and should be available again in a month or two.
If Rijidij is watching this - is there any chance of an update in relation to progress on your product? Am deffinately interested.
Matt.
I have an Outback Accessories single RWC on my D4 - no problems at all with reversing sensors, but I am not running a Mitch Hitch.
It has an over-centre latch (plus gas strut). Nobody has had any problems operating the latch. Only problem that I've come across is people forgetting to swing the wheel away before opening the top tailgate ........... but you'll get that with any brand of RWC.
Cheers .........

I have the rijidij rear carrier on my D3, and its a great piece of kit.
Its far more user friendly than the dual carrier I made for our D2, and the Boss seems to be happy with the D3 carrier.
I did have issue's with the parking sensers, but now have them sorted, and works fine with both the mitch hitch and the original tow bar.
Once Murray sorts out the couple of issues I had , think you would be hard pressed to find a carrier that is as well made or better than his.
Cheers Ean
Unfortunately I couldn't wait for Rijidij carrier so went for Dolium (Frontrunner) and am very happy with it on my D4. No sensor probs and latch is very easy to operate.
Ditto for the "Frontrunner" RWC.
cheers

I have an Outback Accessories single rear wheel carrier fitted to my D4 and have no problems with the reversing sensors albeit RH inner has been removed. My wife has commented that she no problems with the center latch or using it and likes the way that the gas strut keeps it open even on a slope. Outback Accessories RWC also has provision to mount a work light or other accessories on the vertical post.
I probably would have fitted the 4x4 DE if it had been available at the time but am more than happy with what I have.
