50 pounds in the UK and $400 here. Now that is some mark up or am I misreading the price in the link? Getting older, maybe the eyes are going

    Yes £49.80

It's £69.80 for the RC150 replacement for the 2.7L Diesel, that may be even more here I would imagine

I could not find it through any battery outlet

Had the battery on my TDV6 replaced at last service, so haven't got exact price, but the service rep muttered something about more than $500. I can't find it on any battery sites here either

    Cheers

I had the battery replaced recently in my 09 D3 TDV6 with a Century DIN85L. Looked identical in shape to the original LR. Cost $215

The last time I looked, Century batteries were still made in Australia. So that probably decreases price on freight.

Last I looked, the Century "DIN" style batteries were imported, but the others are made locally.

[EDIT] just been to check and the Century website doesn't show any details any more.

They replaced the one in the sons Puma, three years and one day old.No questions asked.

So you should be fine, unless they have changed the fine print in the warranty section of the manual....
