The ATR's are rated at 111H but the original are 111V.

From an insurance perspective, does that matter?

As I read the NSW guideline (which I did about 3 days ago), the load rating must be as on the placard as a minimum. The speed rating must be at least 140kmh but they recommend whats on the placard as a minimum also. So as I read it, H is fine. Mud tyres are in the same boat with their lower speed ratings.

Here is the document as published by the NSW RTA (or whatever Road & Maritime are now called) for the correct info.

Edit: OK, I don't know wtf is going on with links as it keeps directing back to AULRO. I've disabled the hyperlink, you will need to copy it into your browser and the VS! will hopefully download.

Hi Craig (Disco4SE), how do you find GEO's 18" rims. Are they worth the extra money. I plan a trip to Cape York, many trips to the high country and eventually Simpson Desert, so need a wheel to replace my factory 19" rims. Cheers Robert

Hi Robert, Long term, the 18" rims are worth it.
The availability of tyres are a lot greater.......especially in the outback.
The rims themselves are rally bred tried & tested.

    Cheers, Craig
