I have simplistic suspension on my van almost 3ton and no problem at all with D3 towing it. Seems very strange

I am not saying its the problem here. What I am saying is when the simplicity suspension was replaced on my van the push and pull that can feel like surge went away.

Well the final update. Removed the hyland hitch and fitted a standard 50mm coupling. Took it for a test run this morning and problem has gone. Glad to finally have it sorted. 14000kms later, a lot of hair pulling and sleepless nights we are now happier to know it was not the car.

    Cheers

Is there any difference in the van's drawbar height between the 2 couplings?
