    Fitting RHS Turbo hose to D3

    G'day everyone
    I have managed to get a split in the RHS turbo hose (well it is the second time). Anyway this time I have bought sillicon hoses and intend to fit myself.
    Can anyone tell me the easiset way to get at the bottom of the RHS hose?

    Access is through the wheel arch. Remove the wheel and then you can access the plastic cover.

    Just had to replace ours as well. Our spanner twirler wasn't sure about the benefit of silicon hoses so opted for an original item. Apparently they've changed the design as this is a common problem.

    No need to remove the wheel quite easy to replace.
    Just pull the plugs out of the plastic clips and remove the rounded plastic cover.
    Just watch where the hose runs past the chassis as there is a sharp edge there that the silicon hose can rub on.
    Did not have trouble with mine just changed it as precaution.

    thanks guys all done and relatively easy. put into off road height and full right lock and it was easy to get at the access cover.
    The clips holding it need a little care, in two parts, carefully lever the centre part out with a screw driver and then I found that needle nose pliers sufficed to pull it out, then the outer can be levered away and taken out by hand. did not break a clip.

    Did need to stand on the bumper to get the leverage to push the top connection on, the bottom went on easily.

    I did notice that the land rover hose that was on there appeared to have less layers than the silicon replacement. In cross section the original has one layer of what appears to be some sort of material, (looks like white dashes around the middle of the hose), the silicon hose has several layers of these.
