Well I finally have a D4. Waited a long time for this moment and I am thrilled to bits. Still has the hesitation/delay on initial application of accelerator, so I need to find out what that fix is? Wouldn't have thought one this new would have that. It is something that one could get used to, except it would be quite dangerous if you were caught out when trying to change lanes with a bit of throttle. Seems to wait then surges off more than desired. I'm sure it will be resolved and other than that one little thing the car is absolutely fantastic to drive. A big thank you to this forum and it's members for providing me with the in's and out's of a fantastic vehicle. Love it!

Congratulations !!! I'm sure you'll love it. I still love getting into mine after 7 months

I had a similar lag issue and got caught turning across traffic a couple of times with resultant heart failure When I put it in for the 6 month service (I do a lot of small runs and wanted to change the oil to be on the safe side) I mentioned it to the service manager. When I got it back he said that they had adjusted the brake pedal. Apparently, if it's not adjusted correctly the computer thinks you've still got the brake on for a second and hesitates before taking off. Must admit it seems better since it was adjusted.

Might be a similar issue with yours as mine did not need a software update.

Congrats mate. Nice colour, looks good with the tint. I see they colour matched the door strips too, which makes em look good IMHO.

Thanks Jim. I asked for them to be colour coded after seeing a members ride here. Trying to work out if they have swapped the fronts to the wrong side. I should have been there to check, but I think they are supposed to angle up and back from the bottom edge. I think it looks better that way. I'm very pedantic, so I'm gonna have to dwell on that one.

Congratulations Mungus, your car looks great. I'll look out for it around Darwin. Mine is the Atacama Sand coloured D3 with TV plates and 'birdwatching tours' signage.

Thanks Mike. Like wise I'll keep an eye out for you, give a wave.
BTW. Your name sounds familiar. Have you ever spent any time in Weipa?

    Cheers.
