I think you will find they are fully booked. You could try to register here:

or email lreaus at landrover.com to see if they have spots or, just rock up as you suggested.
Cheers,
Sean

At short notice, I ended up going to the last session this afternoon. I actually think they did it quite well. Bit of on-road and a bit of off-road.
The tracks were good for that sort of thing - a few spots to impress the punters but nothing serious. It was helped by a lot of mud. Unfortunately couldn't go up the steep bits because it was considered too wet, but still had a bit of fun.
Getabout supplied the instructors and the ones I had were good blokes - all Land Rover tragics. Apparently they are in the process of setting up a Land Rover Experience franchise, with proper courses and expeditions, which can only be a good thing.
I spent most of the afternoon in the Defender. Got a few funny looks when I asked for that over the Range Rover, but heaps more fun. Tried the new Sport too - very nice.
Cheers,
Jon
So you got a choice of vehicle Jon?
Yes, the whole range was there, but only one Defender and one Rangie - heaps of Discos and Sports. Apparently you had to nominate a preferred vehicle. I hadn't but was told my preference was for a Rangie, which was why I got the funny looks when I said I wanted the Defender.
Never got to try the Rangie as the compressor overheated and they had to give it a rest.
Cheers,
Jon
Anyone knows if they have any openings tomorrow? Will likely be up in Terry Hills sometime, and wouldn't mind dropping in for a drive.
I just had my session and asked John the guy that now heads up Land Rover experience for Australia why I did not get the email invite? One of my work mates forwarded his email to me. John explained they were aiming for Land Rover owners that had vehicles that were circa three years old, I.e. Getting in front of those that are contemplating to buy. So in other words a good marketing ploy.
Anyways had a great day out driving in the mud with complementary food and drinks.![]()
Was a very well run day, they kindly allowed me a run, probably cos there were a lot of non-starters given the weather.
It was a bit sloppy out there, but obviously the cars coped just fine - for those with experience in those conditions, how hard or tame were those tracks?
Agree, a well organised day, and whilst the instructors all said "we're not salesmen" there was a lot of promo on the benefits of each vehicle.
Had a go in a deefer then the new discovery. Both very nice in their own ways.
I was impressed with the handling in the very wet clay like soil, but I haven't done that much wet work, so can't comment as to how hard it could be considered.
