As the title suggests, now that I have an Aux battery fitted under the bonnet, I would like to find the feed to the rear power socket and "divert" it to be fed from the Aux battery so it can be on all the time - is this possible? I read somewhere there is a "time-out" on the circuit but I haven't confirmed this. I was just going to find the feed from (possibly) the engine bay fuse box and do the cut and shut there. Does anyone have a wiring diagram they can help me with?
Cheers - Matti
The only disclaimer from me is that relates maily to a US spec D3 although references to right hand drive models exist throughout the manual. Further I am making the assumption here that the wiring to the rear power socket hasn't changed from this manual to your model......
I sincerely hope this works for you. On electrical matters I have no clue.....
You could pull the relay and feed into the the accessory sockets from there. A 6mm spade fits nicely into the relay socket. Or you could pick the fuse.
Hmmm - Of Course!! I have the Rave CD from the forum shop and after drilling down about 6 sub-folders I have located the wiring diagrams (Old numb nut didn't look close enough the first time :banging
Thanks for you assistance anyhow guys.
Cheers - Matti
