Park Distance Control (PDC) buzzer not working

I think my PDC buzzer has died. It was sounding a bit sick and was definately quieter and a different tone. I now don't get any noise at all when selecting reverse the first time and the PDC light flashes amber constantly. I have checked all the sensors and can hear them clicking so am sure the fault is probably just a dead buzzer.
Has anyone replaced the buzzer and any idea where it is and how to get to it? I assume it is behind the passenger side rear panel judging from where the noise used to come from.

It is behind the rear left hand panel in the load compartment. The whole panel from rear passenger door to the tailgate comes out as one. Not too difficult to do, you just need to be quite gentle but brutal at the same.

If you look in the shop at the top of the forum, you can buy a manual on disk. Will help a great deal.

Thanks. Will look into the manual. Do you think a faulty buzzer will cause the warning lights or should I be looking for something else?

I would first of all check the condition of your battery. I had similar symptoms, and slowly on more things weren't working properly, even though the car still started well. When I replaced the battery all the little electric/ electronic problems were fixed.
