    I'm don't know my around a D3 but a possible way of breaking the bead would be to raise suspension to max height, put the tyre/wheel under the car near the jacking point, put the jack under the jacking point on the tyre near the edge of the rim and lower the suspension.

    I could be completely wrong.

    FWIW I went east to west in the Simpson and back along the Oodnadatta track to Maree, and back up to Birdsville. I only got one puncture just before Maree.

    I am trying to buy 5 D4 rated 19" rims and they are as rare as golden hen's teeth, so I would have thought that buying just 1 rim would be easy. Obviously not so.
    Just keep looking.
