If I was you I would go and find another one with proper servicing intervals. Mine was serviced at 24000 km intervals before I got it in late 2012 at 50,000 km and I have always been worried that the service intervals were too long, even though it is strictly in accordance with the schedule for a 2010 D4. 36,000 km is way too long. I am now up to 155,000 km with no engine problems but it is always at the back of my mind.
I service it at about 10,000 km now. I am just coming up for timing belts and front brakes at 160,000 km, which makes the next service expensive. I have also recently replaced the EPB, battery, front LCA's and rear shock assemblies, also steel pan and transmission service at 90,000 km, so not cheap over the last year or so. However, we drive it a lot all over Australia with a lot of off road and towing as well as city driving.
I have seen far more of Australia in the short time since I bought the D4 than in the rest of the 60 years of my life. On my several trips across Australia and to the north, including Cape York and Binns Track, we usually do around 800 - 1000 km a day and travel on the gravel wherever possible, so we don't baby the car.
