The protector has been stashed away for 3 years! I just didn't get it on until recently - it was clear - till the spray paint was applied.

I don't believe they are available anymore.

    Iced coffee was retro fitted

Is there an easy way to fix spot light mounts.

I would like to fit a single row led bar across the front (about the width of the grill)

I believe it is a major exercise fitting the mounts i.e. bar off, flares off etc.
    Cheers

I have a pair of spots on mine that I use to get a little bit further light distance but there is not really that much extra to be gained. I leave them off unless the highway is open and straight.

I also find too much light gives terrible glare from road signs and destroys your night vision.
If you have Bi Xenon ....... My MY10 SE had them standard and my latest arrival MY13 SE does not. :-(

I have absolutely no idea what LR were thinking when they did this.

I was going to ask where he got the black bonnet protector as well. I have a clear one on mine, but reckon the black looks good, especially on a white vehicle.

The "iced coffee" bottle is really a camouflaged "heavy duty" base for that radio aerial.
    Cheers .........

Pull off protector, wipe inside with wax and grease remover..

Spray with Dymark Enamel on inside: allow to dry.

    Bingo, one black bonnet protector!

    Tombie,

2 probably very dumb questions for any seasoned D4 owner, but here goes anyway:

    1. With the spot lights and LED bar, what is the voltage, I see that companies sell both 12 and 24v?

    2. Did you need to do anything special to add the LED light bar. doesn't LED's cause issues in the D4?

I really need some spot/drving lights, so am very interested in your setup.

    Thanks.

The Fyrlyts are "custom" running 24v
    Light Bar is multivolt... 10-30v

All just direct from battery activated by relays

    Wired myself.
You can fit a switch there, after some advice from a sage forum member I suggest you remove the switch before drilling!!!!
