    Disco 4 Terrain Response OCD

I know this isn't a fault just an OCD thing i noticed the other day while i was passengering and looking around the cabin, it must of been a simple over sight or there could be a reason behind it. Has anyone else noticed the terrain symbols are not centred they are over to the right instead of all being centred in the box, and no its not my car just a pic i got off the net because i couldn't be bothered to go out and get a pic, but mine is the same minus the eco button.

Hi nat_89 - I share your concern. There are two things that came to mind...

    1. The designers were having a late night and topped up with an otherwise illegal substance <g>

    2. The designers were informed by the TR engineering team to allow for another mode that was coming soon. But it didn't happen soon and so the path between the design and production of the diagram was cut short. Hence its appearance so far.

    3. Maybe they were thinking like you where OCD = Off Centre Diagram.

I think thats for the models that have the stop start system, but i don't believe the D4s in Aus are getting the stop start system.

Room there for one more function light. (Llams status of some sort would be good there)
One graphic in the manual has them centred and yet another has them offset just like that.

Haha you could be right on all 3 there!! When i was searching for a pic, someone had it circled there and i thought maybe it came from the Range Rover Sports in the UK that had the rotary gear dial and some had the Dynamic setting and maybe they allowed for that but didn't centre it up when they took that setting away??
