I'm not sure how long the radio stays on either but mine has never turned off while I have been listening to it. It even stays on when you lock the car if you turn it on manually but I assume it would go off after a few minutes when the car shuts itself down.

    Going to the Yatala drives??

I could be wrong, but I think the radio in my My14 turns off after 10 mins or thereabouts, even if it's turned on via the on/off switch.

D4 radio turns itself off after about 10 minutes, even when turned on with the on/off switch after the rest of the vehicle is shut down.

You can turn the radio back on as many times as you like, but will still shut down after about 10 minutes or so every time.

Went to the Yatala drive in a few weeks ago in the D4. Radio would turn off every 10 mins. Kept switching back on, until we got a warning that the battery was going to go flat. A bit of a shame, because the Disco is perfect for that sort of thing...

    Maybe - but the OP has a D3 not a D4.
