    D3 bars and approach angles

Hi all. Looking at bars and want to find one that does not compromise the approach angle of the D3. Are the ARB and OL bars as good for this as the standard bumper?

    Thanks
    Regards, Will

Mate, ask Digger and TD5130 about the angles the D4 was pulling at Melrose.

ARB and OL on par with one another.

And it's not the limiting factor

What IS the limiting factor then?

The real limiting factor off road with either the D3 or D4 is the ramp over angle. That comes from a long wheel base, smallish tyres and limited lift. Still you need to be having a pretty serious go to end up sitting on your chassis rails in one.
    Cheers,
    Terry

You can flatten the air tank if you try hard enough.

My D3 has better approach and departure angles than my jeepnik mates lifted, locked and modded Jeep Wrangler swb. I love the look on his face when he bangs off ledges and I just slowly sail down with no crashing or bashing. Obviously I hit my guts before he does ... But anyway ...
