 Insurance Recommendations
		Hi all,
Got a rude shock on friday when i opened my insurance renewal, broker i have been using which up to now has been really good sent me a renewal for the D4 and the price has jumped a staggering $500!!! to $2300!!
No claims or any changes to my status so cannot understand it. Havent spoken to them as yet as i opened it on Sat morning but covering bases and want to now shop around.
Got a fair few options/add on's etc so but nothing added since i insured with them last year.
Has anyone got any recommendations. Need full cover anywhere in Oz for all offroad situations etc and also as the car is only 12 months old new for old for the next few years. Any advice warmly received

After over 30 years with Suncorp,i couldn't cop the massive increase this year.
Ended up going with AAMI,less than half the price and another $100 off as we did it on line.
Make sure you get windscreen cover as the windscreens with rain sensors are very expensive.AAMI included windscreen cover.
Thanx Scarry and Kero!
Will look at both these, like the idea of the 4 year new for old for 4 years, a mate just insured a 170K Merc for the same price as their now quoting me so somethings wrong for sure.
Yeah, I'm not looking forward to my renewal after my wheel claim which was not my fault.
Might be shopping around.
2014 SDV6 HSE - LLAMS, Tuff Ant Tree Sliders, Tuff Ant 18" rims, Nitto Ridge Grappler tyres 265/65 R18, Custom Lipo4 battery, Custom Drawer storage system https://www.box.com/s/jem0ilac3cner2mexq64
All these companies bank on your loyalty. They just ratchet up the price every year by hundreds of dollars expecting that your loyalty and their no claim bonus will keep you with them. I'll bet if you try an online quote with your current insurer they'll be very much cheaper than what your renewal is - which royally ****ed me off when I went through the exercise. At that point I had no hesitation dropping them to go with a significantly cheaper option.
Cheers,
Sean

This will blow your socks off.
I was offered a policy thru Land Rover,$1085.
SGIO came in at $875.00,and a brand new replacement if written off in the first 2 years
I do have 65% NCB,7 policies and 25 years of customer loyality with SGIO.

I havent done much carnage in my driving years, worst effort was a XD ford and a light clip of a power pole doing a U turn, hit the kerb pulling the steering wheel out of my hands. It was repaired so not so bad a prang, was 19 at the time.Since then its mainly been windscreens or 3rd party damage
