Cheers for all the info guys. Cruise control is still a bit hit n miss. Sometimes it works, sometimes it won't. Turn it off and on again and it's fixed 😉. Fidgety tacho is interesting. Today it got fidgety and made like a droning noise at 1500rpm in 5th (I checked on Command Shift). If I knocked it back to 4th it went away. Clearly something related to torque and low revs. (1500-1700rpm)

That's transmission shudder. Definitely will want to change the ATF fluid and put steel sump on. The tacho relates to the torque converter slipping.

How hard is it to change? As in driveway job or easier to get someone with a hoist?

Unfortunately not as simple as on the older vehicles, new oil has to be measured by volume at between 35 and 50 degrees C so the amount is correct. I elected to have the change to steel pan and oil change done by a workshop, cost me about $700, will change it myself in future as the steel pan makes that much easier.

My original Nannycom has been a bloody good bit of gear with our pair of TD5s.

I'm happy with my IIDtool thingo (seems to do more than that one above, cost less and be smaller), the new ones with bluetooth look excellent (I was an early adopter so no BT for me).
    Hi Andy.
The document that Epic Pooh posted seems to reference D4 to 2014? I think you will need a new cable though. Nanocom compatibility is just another job to get to when I see mine in 2 weeks (or around 233 hours!).

    Cheers,
