    Dumb suspension question time

As per the title, dumb question time.

I am off to Nth Straddie soon and I've read up on the setups, pressures, etc. Now my query is in relation to the super extended mode and where exactly do you place the block of wood when lowering the car to trick it into super extension? Im scared of damaging something so guidance to a nuffie please.

    Kind regards

    Anywhere except the suspension compressor
Seriously, you shouldnt need extended height unless you are stuck. One thing to watch for is to make sure the suspension hasn't dropped on the fast stretches along the beach as you negotiate any dropoffs or creeks. I learnt how to refit my rear bumper the hard way on my first trip to Fraser with a new D3.

Or, if you want to have in-car control and are prepared to spend more, you could go with LLAMS electronic height control. This has the advantage of being able to control height from inside the car, and also being able to go lower than standard too.
