						Hi all,
I'm just about due for a new set of tyres and have been searching high and low for any info on the AT2's in LT 285/60R18. Is anybody running these?
I've seen them advertised at a really good price (the same as the 255/60's) and thought they may be worth a try being LT.
I've done a fair bit of reading about different tyres and as I plan a bit of bush work want to get something fairly strong and with a bit more side wall. I'm thinking either these or the BFG AT's in 265/65. But the price I've seen the Grabbers for makes it hard to justify the extra coin.
Will I need to deflate the spare to get it to fit on a D3? Will it rub at all?
Any feedback appreciated.
Cheers.
Dale.
I just sold my Cooper LTZ's in 285/60 R 18, when I had my first set I had the spare still underneath the car. Yes it fits but needed to be flat to fit in.
Did they rub, yes three spots. On the rear wheel archs at the front there is a seam behind the plastic which can be flattened if you want. If you have rear AC you will need to move the coolant lines.
The other spot is is wiring loom that runs on the outside of the front passenger side chassis rail, it's simple to move up on top of the chassis rail at the spot the tyre comes close.
