    Wind deflectors on a D4

One annoying thing about the D4 is the drumming from the windows, when one is open on the move... Has anyone tried wind deflectors and do they make a difference?

I've found some on eBay for $55 plus postage but do they actually work?

    Cheers
    Daryl

Will have to look at some to.
Its annoying the drumming noise on a long run when you want to open the windows to get a good dose of fresh air.

I've fitted the same style as Tombie but only to the drivers window, personal preference. I find it comfortable to have the drivers window partially or fully open with it fitted. The only thing I have noticed is that it does obscure / distort the view along the A pillar and it is most noticeable when going around round-a-bouts etc. increasing that blind spot.

I do find it annoying to the noise but i just crack another window and it seems to shut it fairly much up. Ill have a look for the wind deflectors to though.

My Mrs loves an open window,I prefer silence and aircon.
Sometimes I close her window, the look is to die for
For $55 it could be a great solution to the problem

It's the othe way around in my house - a nice mild spring or summers day I love the window open, my wife hates it and would prefer to be couped up in the aircon

Ill agree there Andy love the peace and quiet of it all shut up!! But i will admit on a long drive its nice to have it open for a few minutes let some breeze in and fresh air, but then shut it all up again!!

I normally drop the window in towns to refresh the air...

I've got the same deflectors as Tombie on all 4 windows - wouldn't be without them. Have always had at least one on the driver's door of every vehicle I've owned (I even buy and fit one to company vehicles).

I prefer driving with the window open - sometimes even at highway speeds.
    Cheers .........
