Aside from initial purchase price I would say my D4 has been the cheapest vehicle I've owned...

Less cost to fit it out.
    Less cost to maintain.

Cheapest of all my vehicles TCO wise...

I like your terrain response side sticker !

Be interesting to see what you think of TCO when it gets to the 5 year mark - that's when mine started ****ing through parts - but that said, mine is a very early D3 and I'd think they would have improved some things with experience (... I'm looking at you rear differential ... haha).

Then I wondered if it was just a random symbol to represent all Disco models. Since this thread is in the D3/D4/RRS, forum, that seemed unlikely.

A quick glance at the layout of the keys on the keyboard suggested that a much more likely, but less amusing explanation is that after using the shift key to type the capital D, you were a bit slow to release the shift key when you tried to type a 4.

Good on you Allan for trying, at least there is one Defender owner game enough to do a little fishing in here.

Shame you didn't catch anything. ...

For a 110 Defender 3M was 490 from memory 35% and excellant result. And no negative effects at night.
By all means get a Defender. If you get a good one, you'll be happy. If you get a bad one, you'll become a philosopher.

I'd be just as worried about the Defender diffs not handling the extra stress. ...
