I have had a melanoma removed so Im in the big risk factor, especially being a Ranga.
I didnt buy factory privacy glass, will be buying max upv window tint into the future.
Wouldnt mind prices from those that have.
    Cheers

I have it on mine and I like the look of it but I will be getting the front door windows tinted soon, legally that won't be as dark as the privacy glass but for me that's no big deal.

All just individual tastes I guess.

It's dark but has no heat rejecting or uv filtering properties

    Tinting works far better!

The glass is all pilkington opticool which has UV / IR reducing properties. I have privacy glass and a light tint. Very dark and very very well insulated.

Advantage of tint is the increased security as it makes the glass neigh on impossible to smash. Downside is they then damage the vehicle to get in ... Anyway.

I went with it and added a uv only blocking behind it. It's dark on the outside but fine looking out.

I can't comment on the glass, but I am quite prepared to comment on the title.

My first reaction was to wonder if the $ symbol was a way to make a cryptic comment about the expense of owning a new Disco.

Then I wondered if it was just a random symbol to represent all Disco models. Since this thread is in the D3/D4/RRS, forum, that seemed unlikely.

A quick glance at the layout of the keys on the keyboard suggested that a much more likely, but less amusing explanation is that after using the shift key to type the capital D, you were a bit slow to release the shift key when you tried to type a 4.

Agree with everyone else about it and I have the 3M tint crystalline I think it's called very good really happy with how much heat it blocks out really good plus it's darkest legal. Was about $600 for the whole car, but by far the best tint I've ever had on any car.
