I am more then happy with the Milenco Aero 2 Mirrors.

X2.. 25,000km around 3/4 of Australia towing a 20 foot van and the Milenco mirrors never fell off or folded. I remember on the Nullarbor there were several trucks heading the opposite way that shock the car as they passed because of the amount of wind they carried with them. I do the mirrors up tight and retighten/check them every few days.

Passed a D4 with the suction mirrors on the way from Ballarat to Melb Wednesday.

He wasn't happy as it pulled off and thumped against the door!

Mirror assemblies / motors really aren't made for that extra force...

Look at genuine from the UK... They're fair price...

Does Land Rover have towing mirrors???

There is nothing listed on Rimmers site and I haven't seen anything on Land Rovers web site?

I bought basic ORA ones with a single strap from top to bottom. Very average. Used them only once. I'll need some now.

I had a look at the Clearview mirrors at the 4WD show on Friday.

They are bloody huge ............ don't think I'll be going down that path. Might look OK on an F150 though.
    Cheers .........

    hi NTB
how do you get the clips to tighten on the mirror? My mirrors 2014 D4 have an angle on them which makes the mirror slide off when i tighten it. Tried a few types whilst in Brisbane this weekend with not much luck.

Brunsgaard 4 point mirrors work well and fit securely. They work on my current RRS 2014 which has a similar mirror surround shape as the current D4. Kel from brunsgaard in perth is very helpful. The Milenco falcon mirrors dont even make it out of the garage they just wind off as you tighten the clamps.

Unsure about what differences there are between years but here is a couple of photo's of my Milenco Aero 2 Mirror Clamps attached to the side mirrors.

thanks for the photos, 2014 has a curved top edge and is chamfered in towards actual mirror glass.

I have used Milenco Aero on a D3 and now a 2011 RRS for 4 years with no issues whatsoever. Travelled 100,00kms with the van in that time, so they are excellent.
