    Best tyres for Disco 3

Hi I have just joined and have a question on new tyres that I now need.
Main purpose is on road with plenty of horse float towing. We also have a very steep gravel driveway of about 500m. Currently have Cooper Discoverer 365/60R18. These seem to produce very hard ride and are noisy.
We live just out of Melbourne. Any recommendations?

I'm gonna assume pretty bad 0_0

in seriousness I'm assuming He means 265's not 365's

that said I have only had my D3 one day so cannot comment on Tires.

I have tried the orginal Wranglers, 2 sets. Not impressed and tried a set of Contis, very quiet but poor cornering.

Last 2 sets have been Perelli Scorpion Zero. As my driving is 99.9999% on road i find them a good choice, quiet, good cornering and grip and fair longevity. Think the last set have been on close to 40 thou km. About had it now.

I have no plans to crawl over rocks, mud rutted tracks and at most I might get on the beach.

If you plan on a little off road work then perhaps consider the Perelli Scorpion ATR.

    Best of British :-)

Pirelli Scorpion ATR or the Goodyear Duratrac are both good options.

I too run Pirelli Scorpion ATR's as a 90/10 tyre (90% on road) Good grip dry and wet, very quiet, good on dry ir damp dirt/gravel, and they actually hold air unlike my old Kumho's.

Lots of pucker factor with those Kumho's in the wet made me get rid of them with 20k+ left on the rubber....
