However, with my petite figure I can't imagine it would budge at all.

Is it somehow set to lower to access height when stopped?

I was wondering the same thing. Some people I know deliberately lower their D4 to access height every time they stop and it is possible that LR have introduced some setting that can be activated to automate this in later models??

    Hi Graeme

I do use "access height" (which is much lower than its regular stance) for my 83 year old Mum, but not often enough to make it a standard setting.

I also can't understand why it would settle while sitting at a red light?

When driving down the road parrallel to a D3 my D4 seems lower.

Even when I park it up each night it settles before I walk away. But not to access height .

    All very interesting.

You won't find me on: faceplant; Scipe; Infragam; LumpedIn; ShapCnat or Twitting. I'm just not that interesting.

It will re-level after you get out because weight has been removed and will re-level when stopped after driving due to the tendency of the front to lighten whilst driving thereby being too low when stopped, but should never be in the vicinity of 50mm - probably more like 10mm.

When my front sensors were out of whack after a lot of suspension work mine would drop very noticeably maybe 25mm or more - it seemed like a lot. After calibration it is not perceptible inside the vehicle (obviously it does self level etc but not like prior to calibration).

Mine was also sitting not level at all when measured correctly and my dsc was activating excessively.

Have noticed mine always seems to sit lower at the front than the rear, very slightly, where many others,3 and 4's sit level.

I mentioned it when it was at the dealer, and they checked it and was all within spec.

I raised the front of my D4 10mm to increase bump-stop clearance just a little at standard height because it improved the ride. I also like that it now sits level rather than looking like a wedge but perhaps another item along with the bull-bar and AT tyres to increase fuel consumption at speed.
