    Question How can I tell if the D4 has a DPF?

    Just been looking through info on the D4 and realised I don't know if my vehicle has a DPF fitted. I certainly got no warnings about regen on the display whilst driving it back.

    I'm think AU models may not or TDV6 may not. Also mine is the MY15 build so may differ from earlier ones.

    Don't have the car at present as it on a sea voyage for a few days

    Derek, I don't think you will have one, have a look at the diagram in this post and compare under the vehicle and you will know for sure:

    Thanks. My VIN starts SALLAAAF so the theory is no. Will check underneath when I get my car back from is ocean cruise.

    Barged from Darwin. Driven in enough on the track and also filled the back of the rover with shopping so overall freight saving too
