Put your car at offroad height, get a torch and have a close look at the diff - if it has an actuator motor on top of the diff then it is an e-diff, no actuator, no e-diff.
Folks, just checked all my fluid transmission levels. The rear diff drained 1.6L or close to it, suggesting E-Diff.
Questions: Is it possible / likely to overfill a standard diff to 1.6L?
Is it harmful / unwise to use e-diff rated oil in the standard rear diff?
What is the clincher as to whether you have e-diff or not?

Thanks, Wasa

The actuator will have a wiring harness attached.
Edit: If an e-diff then you might have to grab some synthetic LSD 75w90 oil but no problem using e-diff oil in an open diff.
