    No worries.

Coromal would have something like this for just two people. Those would come with a separate shower and toilet, rather than the combined unit we got.

    Your old tow hitch

    Hey Scott,
If you end up fitting a new hitch, any chance you want to sell your old factory one? Someone nicked mine last weekend.
    Cheers,

If you haven't bought the van yet and want to charge its batteries via your alternator, ensure that Jayco supply very heavy wire from the Van's batteries all the way to the Anderson plug. Typically van suppliers save money and such wire and the thicker the better. Each wire should fill the Anderson plug connection.

...and Jayco will not upgrade the wiring due to potential 'warranty' issues - we tried that last year....

    Hi Dev,

No I didn't need an upgraded hitch, just use the Land Rover one. Ironically I always put it inside the boot when not towing though. Looks like that was a smart move.

    Scott.

    Hi MP,

I've had the van for a while now, it's a Coromal.

I ended up not getting the car wired to charge the van, it's not needed as we don't do much free camping. I do have the fridge running off the car but that's about it.
    Scott.
