Well changed the oil and filter today and did the silicone hoses yesterday, isn't that small hose a bugger. But glad it is now done. Did have a hole in the lower hose , was blowing a small amount of black smoke under acceleration . Pick up a big difference now well worth the drama. Cheers.
OK... Gone and had a look...
Same as D3 2.7 by the look of it...

Got the service kit and all three hoses from roverparts in vic all delivered .
any differences betweenthe different type of silicon hose? Blue, Green & ones from paddock?
I can sort of see how the long one comes off but what about the other two?
Is there a step by step as a guide?
cheers

The longer of the two lower hoses is real easy, however the real short one is as has been said a real bas****, you have to remove the front passenger wheel, the plastic mudguard liner and some of the aliminium heat shields near the back of the motor, it's about here that you learn to swear in severel different languages, I found that leaving the front lower hose off allowed me to remove and install the new small hose easier, I also fitted a second hose clamp to the small hose as I had popped it off while under maxpower towing the van up a range resulting in lots of black smoke and 5-10kph.

In the process of replacing the turbo hoses with silicon hoses, and up to the small one. Has any one got tips on how best to go about it, eg which end is best to fit first,
turbo end or pipe end
Would it be easier if done on a hoist?
